Khloe Kardashian’s marriage to Lamar Odom may be ancient history, but she’s happy that he’s been opening up in his new memoir.
In a clip from the upcoming season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, Kim Kardashian is seen chatting with her sister about Odom’s press tour for his book Darkness to Light, in which he details his struggles to overcome addiction.
“How do you feel about all the press that he’s doing?” Kim asks Khloe.
“I’m fine. It’s his truth,” Khloe replies. “Like, he’s allowed to tell his version.”
In fact, she believes that writing the book and his interviews about his experiences could serve as “healing or therapy” for her ex-husband.
“A lot of this stuff wasn’t my place to ever talk about, but it’s definitely his place as this happened to him. I actually think it’s really courageous to talk about the amount of addiction that he’s had. Like, the depths of it,” Khloe tells Kim.
“It’s not all great, but it’s… you know, I appreciate the honesty in it,” she adds.
The 17th season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premieres on Sunday, Sept. 8.
