Going to outer space can really mess with a person’s head.
On Monday, the new trailer debuted for the drama “Lucy in the Sky”, starring Natalie Portman as an astronaut determined to be selected for another trip into space.
Portman’s Lucy Cola finds herself in a complicated relationship with a fellow astronaut played by Jon Hamm while slowly beginning to lose her grip on reality.
The film, directed by “Fargo” creator Noah Hawley, is loosely based on the story of real-life astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was arrested in 2007 for allegedly attempting to kidnap an Air Force Captain romantically linked with another astronaut.
Nick Offerman, Zazie Beetz, Dan Stevens, Colman Domingo, Tig Notaro and Ellen Burstyn also star in the film.
“Lucy in the Sky” will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month before opening in theatres on Oct. 4.
