The film is based on adaptations of Shakespeare’s Henriad plays. Chalamet stars as a defiant prince who would become King Henry V. Chala-maniacs will quickly notice the 23-year-old has ditched his long locks for a bowl cut.
Chalamet’s character must balance political conflicts and a raging war after assuming control from his late, tyrannical father.
“A new chapter of my life has begun, and already I can feel the weight of this crown I wear,” King Henry tells Fallstaff. “I’ve been forced to, on the counsel of men whose loyalty I question every waking moment. I need men around me I can trust.”
