Fans are finally getting a new look at Joaquin Phoenix’s take on the Joker.

On Wednesday, Warner Bros. debuted the final trailer for the highly-anticipated film about Batman’s most iconic villain.

“Joker” stars Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to the criminal underbelly of Gotham City.

The film also stars Robert De Niro as a late night host, and Zazie Beetz as Arthur’s love interest who lives in his apartment building.

Directed by Todd Phillips, and also starring Frances Conroy, Bill Camp and Marc Maron, the film will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival before showing at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

“Joker” hits theatres Oct. 4.
