Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the brand-new trailer for the upcoming flick “The Aeronauts”.
The movie sees the reunion of “The Theory of Everything” stars Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, with Redmayne playing scientist James Glaisher, while Jones takes on the role of wealthy young widow Amelia Wren.

The teaser follows the pair as they hop in a balloon in an attempt to break records and fly higher than anyone has done before.
A synopsis reads, “In 1862, daredevil balloon pilot Amelia Wren (Jones) teams up with pioneering meteorologist James Glaisher (Redmayne) to advance human knowledge of the weather and fly higher than anyone in history.
“While breaking records and advancing scientific discovery, their voyage to the very edge of existence helps the unlikely pair find their place in the world they have left far below them. But they face physical and emotional challenges in the thin air, as the ascent becomes a fight for survival.”

The flick is set to premiere at TIFF in September. It will then be released in theatres December 6 and will be available on Prime Video December 20.
