Grace Saif joined Netflix teen drama “13 Reasons Why” for the show’s third season, but negative fan reaction to her character has taken an ugly turn that’s led the actress to apparently deactivate her social media accounts.

Saif plays Ani Achola, a new student at the school and the series’ new narrator, but fans of the Selena Gomez-produced series have been griping about her character having no connection to the events of the first two seasons.

As a result, Saif has been hit by a wave of fan backlash, with some of the show’s viewers getting personal and accusing her of “ruining” the show.

According to Digital Spy, Saif apparently had enough, reportedly deactivating her social media accounts and making her Twitter account private.

While her Instagram account still appears to be active and maintains 23,000 followers, she removed all her posts and profile photo.

However, Saif’s co-star Timothy Granaderos Jr, who plays Monty de la Cruz, has her back, taking to Instagram to remind fans of show to be kind.

“Whether or not you support, like, or love, a character in our fictional tv show — please remember that there is a talented and beautiful actor/actress bringing those scripted words to life,” he wrote.

Love y’all & keep taking care of each other ❤️,” he added.
