Lizzo has nabbed her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with “Truth Hurts”.

The singer, who performed the much-loved track at the MTV VMAs on August 26, previously sat at No. 3. It first entered the charts at No. 50 on the May 18 ranking.

Elsewhere on the charts, Taylor Swift’s latest album Lover topped the Billboard 200 albums list. Her track “You Need to Calm Down” is in at No. 4 after debuting at No. 2 in June.

The title track “Lover” is at No. 10.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” is still at No. 9 and is named the most-heard song on the Radio Songs chart.

It’s been quite the year for Lizzo, who recently caught the attention of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who were spotted watching her performance from the side of the stage at the Made in America festival Sunday night.
