Lenny Kravitz is sending love to the Bahamas following hurricane Dorian.
The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a moving message to those affected by the huge storm, sharing footage of Dorian’s destruction.
“My heart aches for my brothers and sisters going through this storm in the Bahamas,” he wrote. “The strongest winds reported in the Atlantic at 220 mph.”

In happier times, back in February 2019 Kravitz took part in a Bahamas tourism campaign.
Kravitz grew up in New York City and Los Angeles, but he has Bahamian roots and has a property on a private island in the country.
Earlier this year he spoke on a panel alongside the Bahamas Minister of Tourism Dionisio D’Aguilar and Ministry Director General Joy Jibrilu: “It’s an honour, after all these years. After being raised as a proud Bahamian by my mother, my grandfather, my cousins – it’s an honour to be here representing my country.”
