Brie Larson Tears Up At TIFF When Discussing New Film ‘Just Mercy’

Brie Larson is doing what we’re all going to be doing when seeing “Just Mercy”. The true story about a newly Harvard Law graduate Bryan Stevenson (Michael B. Jordan) who heads to Alabama to defend the wrongly accused, including Walter McMillian (Jamie Foxx).

Larson plays Eva Ansley a local prisoner’s rights activist who works with Jordan’s character to help defend the helpless. The two of them try to defend McMillian who is on executioner’s row for the murder of a white woman, even though there is substantial evidence that he is innocent. Definitely a good reason to tear up Larson.
