Paramount Pictures is looking to take on a “Face/Off” reboot.

Fit with a new cast, the production company has enlisted Oren Uziel to write the script, Neal Moritz to produce and David Permut as an executive producer, reports Deadline.

The original 1997 film, directed by John Woo, starred Nicolas Cage and John Travolta with the latter as FBI agent Sean Archer, who is obsessed with catching a homicidal sociopath named Castor Troy (Cage), who is responsible for killing his son. Archer later undergoes facial transplant surgery and takes the mug of Tory so he can be sent to prison to stop a potential attack.

When Archer’s plan goes awry, Troy takes on Archer’s look to infiltrate the FBI.

The bazaar storyline brought in a load of fans. The flick currently sits with a 92% on the Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% score on the site’s Audience Score.

No word on a potential cast or expected release date.
