Samara Weaving, Daniel Radcliffe and the cast of “Guns Akimbo” hit the Toronto International Film Festival to promote the new film, and Weaving had an embarrassingly nerdy anecdote to share involving her co-star.

Chatting with MTV News during TIFF, the 27-year-old actress revealed she has a “Harry Potter”-inspired tattoo, and went to great lengths to keep Radcliffe, 30, from finding out about it.

“I wore really long socks for a long time and then I realized what a gentleman he is, and forgot to wear long socks,” she said, “and yeah, he sort of [said], ‘Is that what I think it is?’”

“It was a Deathly Hallows tattoo,” Radcliffe interjected. “Which a lot of people have — there’s no shame in it. There’s not. It’s absolutely okay. I wasn’t gonna be like, ‘Oh god, Samara, you clearly are a big fan. I’m freaked out by it.’ Like, you know, I don’t care.”

During TIFF, Radcliffe and Weaving chatted with ET Canada’s Sangita Patel about the new film, in which he plays a nerdy video game developer who becomes the next contestant in an illegal live-streamed fight to the death.

“It’s an absolutely crazy, 100-mile-an-hour action-comedy,” Radcliffe says of “Guns Akimbo”, describing the film as “like a Jason Statham movie directed by Edgar Wright. It’s an incredible adrenalized heightened mad world but also kind of self-aware and doesn’t take itself too seriously.”
