Ten-year-old opera singer Emanne Beasha delivered another stunning performance on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent” semifinals.
Beasha, from Amman, Jordan, belted out a cover of Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, and it went down a storm with the judges.
Julianne Hough gushed, “I hope that I can articulate the profound thing that just happened. You took those lyrics that I remember in English, which is ‘everything I do, I do for you’ and you shifted that meaning of what we do for each other and for the world and you took such grace and beauty and just offered yourself.
“It was profound. I’m having a moment. I’m figuring out my words. It was profound. It was beautiful. That’s my internal dialogue. I don’t know if it translated.”
Simon Cowell added, according to GoldDerby: “Emanne, look, I’ll tell you what I love about you. You are 10 years old. You’re about one foot tall. But when you come out, I’m gonna be honest with you, I get nervous because it’s the semifinals [but] for you to do what you just did, and the week before, you have this unbelievable powerhouse voice.
“You don’t even know how good you are, which makes it so amazing. And I loved the production of the song you did. I have no idea what Julianne meant, but you are absolutely brilliant.”
