With a 12th season on the way, it’s no surprise “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is up for 14 Emmy nominations this year.
Part one of the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place on Saturday and RuPaul already brought home an award.
The celebrated drag queen won for best host of a reality or a competition program for the fourth consecutive year in a row, meaning he is now tied with “Survivor” host Jeff Probst for the most wins in the category.
His spinoff series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” was also recently renewed for a fifth season.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will air on Sept. 21 ahead of the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 22.
