Our differences can bring us together, which seems to be the primary theme of the new “Ford v Ferrari” trailer.
The clip sees Matt Damon (Carroll Shelby) and Christian Bale (Kevin Miles) butt heads over differences although not even Miles’ wife bothers breaking up the fight.

As the trailer progresses the two have to come together when Henry Ford II wants Shelby to design a car to beat Ferrari during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Miles doubts it can be done, but has to put his trust in Shelby for what becomes a historic race.
During the recent Toronto International Film Festival, ET Canada‘s Roz Weston caught up with Damon to talk about the fight scene between the two actors.
“Definitely nobody wins that fight. We had a lot of fun with that scene because obviously we have had to do a lot of those fight scenes in movies and learning choreography for months and that one was just totally ridiculous,” Damon said.
He added that they spoke about the fight scene beforehand and decided it should be like “one that brothers have.”
Bale also added that the fight was “sloppy” and “no one wanted to hurt the other.”

“It is a hardcore fight between two people who don’t want to take a punch or give a punch,” he said with a laugh.
