Aaron Carter says he’s “done for life” with brother Nick Carter after the Backstreet Boys singer took out a restraining order against him.
On Tuesday, Nick, 39, tweeted a statement confirming that he and sister Angel served his brother with a restraining order, explaining that he took the drastic measure due to “Aaron’s increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbours thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child.”
Because of this, he writes, “we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.”
He concludes by sharing his hope that his brother “gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
Aaron Carter, 31, recently cancelled his concert tour following the revelation — made on syndicated daytime TV series “The Doctors” — that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety and manic depression.
He responded to his brother’s statement via Twitter, confirming that he’d been served.
He continued, unleashing a scorched-earth Twitter rant insisting that he and his brother are “done for life” and asking him to “LEAVE ME ALONE. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.”
According to TMZ, deputies from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department recently visited Aaron Carter’s home for a welfare check, and he claims they paid another visit over the weekend and attempted to place in on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
Last week, he went on earlier Twitter rant about his brother, arguing with Backstreet Boys fans and accusing Nick of deliberately skipping the funeral of their late sister.
