The 26-year-old appeared on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and talked about the track “Let’s Go On the Run”, in which he references Kimmel’s long-running gag at the end of each episode apologizing to Matt Damon for being out of time.

The rapper also talked about his decision to postpone his tour after his daughter was born as a kind of paternity leave.

“How does that work exactly?” Kimmel asked, noting that Chance is in a way his own boss.

“The fans are kind of my bosses, so you gotta let them know,” Chance explained. “It’s just way harder, honestly, having two kids than having one… Being honest I couldn’t leave my wife at home with both of them.”

Chance also took the stage as part of Kimmel’s concert series to perform his track “I Got You” from the recently released album The Big Day.
