‘Friends’ Stars Take To Social Media To Celebrate The Show’s 25th Anniversary

On Sept. 22, 1994, NBC aired the pilot of a new sitcom that went on to become one of TV’s all-time greatest hits.

In advance of the the 25th anniversary of “Friends”, four of the six stars of the iconic series are taking to social media to pay tribute to the show’s debut all those Thursday nights ago.

On Thursday, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow all shared matching Instagram posts.

Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston were conspicuous by their absence, as neither has any presence on social media — a fact that Cox and Kudrow mocked with hilarious hashtags.

Wrote Cox, “#seriouslyjen?” and “#youtoomatthew,” while Kudrow added the hashtags: “#TWITTER@MATTHEWPERRY” and #COMEONALREADYJEN.”
