Nikolaj Coster-Waldau loved the “Game of Thrones” finale but he’s aware fans may not feel the same.

The actor appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday night where the host asked if people still approach him to talk about the hit HBO fantasy series.
In one funny anecdote, Coster-Waldau recalls being at the airport when a fan told him he looked a lot like the actor who played Jaime Lannister. Later a paparazzo appeared and peppered him with questions about the finale but Coster-Waldau told him to ask the fan instead.
“Well, I think that they butchered George R.R. Martin’s vision!” the fan said.

Coster-Waldau also talked about the “Game of Thrones” cast’s WhatsApp group chat, which has been active again ahead of the Emmys.
The biggest poster in the group is apparently Theon Greyjoy actor Alfie Allen.
Kimmel also asked who the biggest emoji posters are in the group.
“Oh Gwen, Gwendoline Christie,” said Coster-Waldau. “She’s an emoji fan. And then Lena [Headey] as well.”
