Cliff Hogg will not be your “Big Brother” season 21 winner and he has some regrets about it.
The houseguest spoke with ET Canada following his eviction from the “Big Brother” house. Hogg expressed regret over booting Tommy Braco in the previous eviction.
“Looking back, I now do regret the decision we made,” he confessed. “I was worried about competing against both Tommy and Michie because Tommy was such a memory competitor and Michie was obviously such a physical competitor.”
“I was also fearful that Tommy and Michie were working together before and would link up again, making me the odd man out,” Cliff continued. “I also was extremely fearful of the Tommy/Christie connection outside the house I had learned a day before.”
Ultimately, Cliff believes he made the wrong call: “Looking back, keeping a showmance in a final 4 was not my brightest decision.”
Cliff said if he had kept his word to Jackson and Holly last week, it would have likely secured him a third-place spot in the house; however, it would have only delayed the inevitable.
“I think that in that situation, Nicole would have gone home fourth and I would have ended up in third,” he said. “But I didn’t come into this game to play for third place and I was willing to take the chance to get Nicole into the final three also.”
So what was Cliff most proud of regarding his 93 day-run in the “Big Brother” house? “I am proud of the flexibility I think I demonstrated,” he shared with ET Canada. “I was fighting from day one to stay in that house.”
“Every day, every week, I was having to plan a different plan and different course of action,” he continued. “Up until the very last week, I was doing a very good job adapting to the environment around me.”
