Lil Nas X talks about coming out and reveals his relationship status during an appearance on Monday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
The 20-year-old admits he went from sleeping on his sister’s floor last year to skyrocketing to stardom, with DeGeneres asking him about the timing of his coming out.

He adds of what inspired him to open up about his sexuality at that point in his career, “Just knowing that it’s something that should’ve been done. But I had to worry about family, friends, how they were gonna react I guess.
“Also how it would be good for the audience listening to me right now who will have to go through stuff like this in the future.”
Nas reveals whom he told before coming out on Twitter, “My dad and my sister, the same month I came out I gave them a heads-up.”
Nas then says of whether he’s in a relationship right now: “Somewhat.”
