Lenny Kravitz speaks to Ellen DeGeneres about the devastation left behind by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas during an appearance on her show Tuesday.
Kravitz, who was presented with a $100,000 cheque to put towards rebuilding the destroyed communities, tells the host: “It’s devastating, I have a lot of people on the ground there.”
“What I’m really concerned with are the locals, the heart and the soul of these islands.
“I feel bad for the rich folks that lost their places but they’ll be able to rebuild.
“It’s going to be a long process.”
Kravitz also talks about teaming up with his dentist to set up a clinic for people in the Bahamas who previously hadn’t had access to dental care.
He then surprises five-year-old drummer and big Kravitz fan Justin Wilson II from Fullerton, California.
