After watching her empire crumble in 2013 due to her racist statements, celebrity chef Paula Deen has made another controversial remark that’s resulting in serious social media backlash.

The former Food Network star, 72, appeared on Montana morning radio show “The Big J Show”, where she was asked about Food Network chef Carl Ruiz, who recently passed away at age 44.

“No, I’m not [familiar with Ruiz],” Deen said, “but I’m so sorry to hear that.”
