The 1980s and 2010s came together in a big way on “The Tonight Show”.

On Wednesday night’s episode, guest Charli XCX joined host Jimmy Fallon for a live mashup of the Icona Pop hit “I Love It”, which she wrote, and Depeche Mode’s 1981 classic “Just Can’t Get Enough”.
The bit kicked off with Fallon in his best ’80s gear and sunglasses recreating the video for the Depeche Mode song before Charli XCX took over on her half of the stage with “I Love It”.

Eventually the two faced each other in what looked like a split-screen effect, but was actually just a pole separating the two halves of the stage.
