Natalie Portman doesn’t wear a diaper in her latest movie, and people are angry.

On Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the 38-year-old actress stops by to talk about the astronaut drama “Lucy in the Sky” and playing “Lady Thor” in the next “Thor” film.

Asked about getting into shape for the Marvel movie, Portman says, “I’m assuming I will have to work out but I’m just going to wait until… I’ll be eating my burrito ’til they’re calling me to the gym.”

DeGeneres then brings up “Lucy in the Sky” and the very odd controversy the film, which is inspired by a true story, has inspired.

“The original story was that this woman drove across country to confront — or kidnap, depending on the version — her boyfriend and his new girlfriend. And she wore a diaper so that she didn’t have to stop on the way,” Portman explains. “And we didn’t do that in the movie and everyone’s like, ‘Where’s the diaper?!’ Everyone is really upset to not see me in a diaper. I don’t know what that’s about!”

“You could actually just say, ‘I was wearing it and you just didn’t see it,'” DeGeneres suggests, to which Portman jokes, “I’m wearing one right now.”
