OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder recently said that Adele, Beyoncé, and Chris Martin have recorded a new song together.

“We have one song featuring Beyoncé and Adele with a Chris Martin piano solo on the bridge,” Tedder revealed to Z100 New York during the Global Citizen Festival.

And while it seemed too good to be true– it was. Tedder later turned to his Instagram stories to say that he was only joking.

“Three of my [favourite] things: absurdity, kidding, joke,” Tedder first noted.

“Journalist: any cool collaborations on the next @onerepublic album?” Tedder wrote. “Me utilizing ‘sarcasm,’ ‘kidding,’ and a ‘joke’ simultaneously, ‘Ya, we have one song featuring Beyonce, Adele and Chris Martin, but I don’t want to talk about it or give too much away.'”

Then after sharing some headlines, he added, “come onnnnnnnn people!!”

OneRepublic’s next album Human is slated for a November release and will include already-released singles “Rescue Me” and “Wanted”.
