All six women of the Kardashian/Jenner family reunite for their first fashion magazine cover together in four years.
On Tuesday, CR Fashion Book unveiled their new special collector’s edition cover of Issue 15 – out at select newsstands worldwide on Oct. 3 – led by founder and editor-in-chef Carine Roitfeld.
The cover features none other than television’s most-famed matriarch Kris Jenner, who appears alongside her five daughters, including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, in matching black and white Mugler pieces and Yeezy shoes.
Speaking to the edition, which follows CR Fashion Book‘s PRIVATE/PUBLIC issue with Celine Dion, Roitfeld says, “I chose to have the Kardashian/Jenner women on the cover of this issue as they perfectly embody our theme of public vs. private. They live their private lives publicly and have done so for over a decade.”
Inside the issue, Kris provides a first-person narrative, discussing the strength and love that bonds her family together.
Discussing her kids – including her son Rob Kardashian – Kris says, “Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to have a big family. I used to sit when I was in high school and think, ‘I can’t wait to have six kids – I specially said the number six.'”
On which of her adult children the family turns to in difficult times, Kris contends, “Kim is an extremely emotional person who’s so full of love and affection for me and for her kids and her husband and her sisters and brother. But she’s strong and calm in the midst of a storm. She’s like the one we all run to asking, ‘What the heck just happened?’ I’ve learned a lot from her.”
Kris adds that over the years she still sometimes finds it difficult to overcome pain. “At the end of the day, the reason we are so tight-knit is that there’s nothing that can get through the coat of armour,” she says. “There’s just nothing. I love my family so hard that there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them.”
