Gene Simmons is recovering after going through a series of surgical procedures.

This week, the KISS bassist’s wife Shannon Tweed-Simmons revealed in a post on Instagram that her husband had just undergone his second of three surgeries to remove large kidney stones.
Last month, a KISS concert in Salt Lake City was postponed due to Simmons going through what was at the time an unspecified medical procedure. Shows in Los Angeles and Oakland also had to be rescheduled.

The musician appears to be doing just fine, though, with Tweed-Simmons sharing another photo of her husband in the hospital wearing stolen socks.
