Netflix’s acclaimed animated comedy “Big Mouth” is getting a spinoff.
During the “Big Mouth” panel at New York Comic Con on Thursday, the streaming service announced plans for a new animated series from that show’s creators, reports TVLine, described as “a workplace comedy set in the world of the monsters from… ‘Big Mouth’.”
“Big Mouth” — which returns on Friday with its third season — follows a group of tweens as they find themselves tormented by the forces of puberty, in the guise of the Hormone Monster.
The voice cast includes some of the hottest names in comedy, including Nick Kroll (who is also one of the show’s creators), John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jenny Slate, Jason Mantzoukas, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Jordan Peele and Andrew Rannells.
Details of the upcoming spinoff — including premiere date and casting — have yet to be revealed.
