Abby Lee Miller is more than just a reality TV personality; the “Dance Moms” star is also a convicted felon who served nearly eight months of a one-year sentence in a prison after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud.

Released in March 2018, the 53-year-old reality star now has an insider’s view of the U.S. prison system, and she’s hoping to share her knowledge with fellow reality star Kim Kardashian.

While that may seem random, Kardashian is currently attending law school and is carving out a reputation as a prison-reform advocate; in addition to making a documentary about prison reform, Kardashian’s efforts have helped bring about the release of 17 non-violent offenders.

Taking to Twitter, Miller wrote directly to Kardashian. “I would LOVE to discuss prison reform with you!!! So many things need to be addressed and I know first-hand what has to change!!!” she wrote, asking Kardashian to send her a DM.

This isn’t the first time that Miller has reached out to the 38-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star to share her experience from inside America’s prisons. During a TV interview earlier this year, reports People, Miller detailed the “horrific” treatment she received during her release from incarceration.

“There’s a lot that needs to be resolved,” she said in the interview. “If Kim Kardashian is watching, please, please get in touch with me because she’s doing a lot with prison reform and she’s very interested and I could shed a lot of light on what goes on.”
