The actress mentioned that she was “happy” and “proud” of her work playing Cortez during the first two seasons of the series. Sigman added that it was an “intense learning experience” playing Capt. Cortez.

The Latina star did not mention the reason for saying goodbye; however, there is no bad blood between the actress and her former co-stars and crewmates. Sigman put that thought to rest in her tweet, writing, “wishing the show and ‘S.W.A.T.’ FAMILY the best moving forward.”
