In a strange tweet on Oct. 2, which has since been taken down due to copyright violation, Donald Trump posted a meme version of the Canadian band’s classic music video for “Photograph”, illustrating a conspiracy theory about his opponents.

According to Billboard, Trump’s tweet, though only viewable for several hours, garnered enough attention that is sent sales and streams of “Photograph” soaring.

The 2005 song earned 772,000 streams in the two days after the tweet, which was a 38 per cent increase from the two days prior.
