Global’s “Prodigal Son” is getting a full season.

After more than 10 million viewers tuned in across all platforms, Warner Bros. has ordered nine additional episodes of the hit series from producer Greg Berlanti. It’s also the first new Fall premiere series to get a full-season order.

The series stars Tom Payne stars as Malcolm Bright and Martin Sheen as Dr. Martin Whitly/Bright’s father and a notorious serial killer. Halston Sage, Bellamy Young, Lou Diamond Philips, Aurora Perrineau, Frank Harts and Keiko Agena also star.

“‘Prodigal Son’ delivers a fantastic crime procedural with a complicated and compelling father-son relationship at its core, thanks to the stellar performances from Tom Payne and Michael Sheen,” Michael Thorn, president of entertainment at Fox Entertainment, said in a statement about. “The series has razor-sharp writing, cinematic visuals and is an inventive twist on the genre.”
