Anxiety is as common as breathing for Zoey Deutch.
Deutch graces the November cover of Cosmopolitan. The “Zombieland: Double Tap” star laughs about life with anxiety while speaking with the publication.
“I came into this world with anxiety,” she says. “I used to hold my breath from anxiety when I was a baby and it would make me faint. There are times when it’s debilitating, and there are times when it makes me laugh, like in the car today when I lost the plot entirely.”

“I actually feel like my superpower is my anxiety,” she continues. “It’s one of my key motivators, and it’s at the centre of my ambition.”
Deutch will celebrate her milestone 25th birthday on Nov. 10. She reveals how she plans to deal with her quarter-life crisis.
“There’s nothing I can do,” Deutch says. “I just have to ride the wave.
“I fully have existential thoughts. What does it all mean? How are we here? What were we put on this earth to do? Then I’m like, ‘Zoey, just stop.’”

Deutch’s co-star in the zombie flick Woody Harrelson has high hopes for the young actress. “I’ve worked with a lot of great actresses even before they became really well-known,” says Harrelson.
“I knew with Brie Larson and with Emma Stone and with Jen Lawrence — I knew that these gals were going places. And I can tell you with the same surety that Zoey Deutch will be a force to be reckoned with. No question.”
Deutch also made an appearance on Monday’s episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” alongside Ben Platt. “Zombieland: Double Tap” premieres Oct. 18 and also stars Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Rosario Dawson, and Thomas Middleditch.
