Miley Cyrus is looking back at her Bangerz era and nipple pasties.

While celebrating the album’s sixth birthday on Instagram, the singer made some surprising claims about pasties.

Despite the Google-proven fact that pasties were invented in the 1920s and widely used by burlesque performers of the era, Cyrus claims to have invented the accessory.
