Luke Evans is gearing up to release his debut album.

The actor, 40, dropped a teaser of his upcoming LP, At Last, sharing a brief taste of his cover version of Pat Benatar‘s 1983 hit “Love Is A Battlefield”.

The album is described as an “eclectic collection of modern and classic songs, personally curated by Evans to highlight and complement his unique delivery and vocal style.”

At Last will also feature Evans’ own versions of U2’s “With Or Without You”, Maria McKee’s “Show Me Heaven” and Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time”.

“The album is a reimagining of very well-known tracks,” Evans said in a statement. “So we were looking for tracks that we could strip right back down to the bare essentials and then add new arrangements. Turning an ’80s pop anthem or power ballad into something more acoustic or intimate — but retaining the essence of the original.”

Evans previously showed off his singing chops as Gaston in Disney’s live-action “Beauty And The Beast”.
