Aaron Paul is beloved by most for playing Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad”, but not by everyone.
The “El Camino” star was on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Thursday night, and he shared a hilarious story about some hate mail he received while working on “Breaking Bad”.
“You know, I did receive a letter that was disguised as a really sweet letter during the shooting of ‘Breaking Bad’,” Paul recalled.
“It had all these hearts and smiley faces on it—and I try to respond to as many of these fan letters as possible,” he continued, “and I open it up and it’s just this guy screaming at me so angry that I won the Emmy over a couple of his favourite ‘Lost’ actors, Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson.
“He was just so furious. He was like, ‘How dare you take away an award from these brilliant actors?’ It was my fault.”
Later, Corden had Paul play a game in which he was introduced to a lineup of strangers and had to guess which was named Aaron and which was named Paul.
