Avan Jogia and his girlfriend Cleopatra Coleman were going for a very specific look at the “Zombieland: Double Tap” premiere.
Stepping out on the red carpet together, the couple who have been dating since 2017, channelled Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton at the 2000 premiere of “Gone in 60 Seconds”. They seem to have gone to great lengths to mimic Jolie and Thornton, with Coleman even recreating Jolie’s arm tattoo, though hers reads “Avan Jogia” instead of “Billy Bob”.
Similar to the “Maleficent” star, Coleman wore a short-sleeve powder-blue top with black leather pants and black heeled boots. Her boyfriend almost perfectly matched Thornton’s look with a paisley shirt, brown leather pants, and light brown boots. He even wore a black baseball cap and shaved his facial hair to match Thornton’s.
The “Gone in 60 Seconds” premiere took place just a month after Jolie and Thornton got married following two months of dating. Their appearance on the red carpet ended up being quite famous as Thornton admitted that the couple had sex in the car on the way to the premiere. They were married for two years before splitting in June 2002.
Jogia, who plays a new character in “Zombieland: Double Tap”, previously dated Miley Cyrus and co-star Zoey Deutch.
The movie hits theatres on Oct. 18.
