Tom Cruise stepped out in London on Saturday alongside a family member with whom he’s rarely seen: his 24-year-old son, Connor.
Cruise and then-wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor and sister Bella, 26, during their marriage, and the 57-year-old star and his son were photographed as they headed to a private helicopter, where Cruise — who learned to fly a helicopter for his role in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise — showed his son a few aviation basics.
Cruise, 57, waved to onlookers while his son, wearing sunglasses, carried a few small bags.
As People reports, Connor, like his father, is a Scientology devotee, and lives a low-key life near the church’s headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.
“Connor has a pretty simple life in Clearwater,” a source told People last year. “He lives in his own home in a Scientology community. His life is deep-sea fishing. He has a lot of friends and seems very well-liked.”
