Rising Canadian country star Jade Eagleson is back with new music!

The 25-year-old singer just released his latest single “Lucky”, shortly after taking home the Rising Star award at the 2019 CCMA Awards.

He may not have won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket, but Eagleson’s still thankful for what he has in the new track.

“Been out all day in a pontoon fishing on a lake full of bass no bites,” he sings in the first verse.

He continues in the chorus: “So how did I get so lucky? You’ve got me thanking those stars above me / For the way you make every God-given day so sunny.”

“There are truly no words that could ever truly describe how thankful I am for all of the support I’ve received since Day 1. I’m VERY excited to release these songs to you guys,” says Eagleson in a statement. “I truly feel that all of the music we are releasing stay true to country music in its entirety and represents who I am as a whole. I can’t wait to continue this journey and continue to show you what else is cookin’.”

As for what else is “cookin,'” the release joins another new track “Good Country People”.

“Lucky” follows his gold-certified debut single “Got Your Name On It”, which made history as the most-viewed country video by a domestically signed artist of all time.
