Wendy Williams is not impressed with Gina Rodriguez’s latest Instagram antics.
The “Wendy Williams Show” host slammed the “Jane The Virgin” actress on Wednesday’s show, dragging her use of the N-word in a video posted by Rodriguez of herself singing along to the Fugees’ song “Ready Or Not”. Rodriguez used the term while reciting the lyrics and looking at the camera.
But as Williams pointed out, Rodriguez didn’t just say the N-word, “She said the N-word and she said it with a head rock.
“To start with, she’s a really great actress, she’s a very attractive girl, she’s very talented, but I have to end with, What planet are you from?” Williams began. “Don’t you realize what is going on out here? You can’t get away with anything anymore!”
She later explained, “There are certain things you don’t do… Just because you’re cool with people, doesn’t mean you have the pass … I don’t remember the last time I called an Italian person the W-word. It rhymes with bop.”

Rodriguez has issued two apologies since posting the now-deleted video.
First, she apologized in a short clip to her Instagram Stories, “I just wanted to reach out and apologize. I am sorry. I am sorry if I offended anyone by singing along to the Fugees… to a song I love and grew up on.”
