Netflix is getting fans excited for the holidays with a new look at “Holiday In The Wild”.
The streaming giant announced brand new original content Tuesday, all about Christmas, including “Holiday In The Wild” starring Rob Lowe and Kristen Davis.
After finding herself suddenly divorced, Kate Conrad (Davis) embarks on a solo trip to Africa with the help of a pilot, Derek Holliston (Lowe). But when the pair take a detour through Zambia, they rescue an orphaned baby elephant and nurse him back to health at a local elephant sanctuary.
While unknowingly falling in love, Kate and Derek spend Christmas in Africa while taking in majestic animals and scenery.
“Holiday In The Wild” marks a reunion for the “Sex And The City” alum and Lowe, two decades after they starred together in the 1999 miniseries “Atomic Train”.
Netflix also announced “The Knight Before Christmas” about a medieval knight transported to the present day and starring Vanessa Hudgens, “Merry Happy Whatever” with Dennis Quaid, Ashley Tisdale, Bridgit Mendler and Brent Morin and more.
“Holiday In The Wild” launches on Netflix on Nov. 1.
