Two years after its release, “Despacito” is still breaking records.
In celebration of Vevo’s 10-year anniversary, the video platform has released its top 10 most-watched videos worldwide since launching in 2009.
In the number one spot is Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” (featuring Daddy Yankee) with 6.4 billion views since dropping in 2017. Next up is Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” (featuring Bruno Mars) with 3.6 billion views, followed by Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” rounding out the top three with 3.1 billion views.
Maroon 5’s “Sugar” sits at number four with 3.4 billion views while Katy Perry’s “Roar” follows behind in fifth at 2.92 billion views. One Republic’s “Counting Stars” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” sit at sixth and seventh with 2.84 and 2.83 billion views respectively.
Enrique Iglesias’ “Bailando” featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente De Zona comes in at number eight with 2.77 billion watches, while another Katy Perry tune, “Dark House”, comes in at number nine with 2.65 billion views.
Rounding out the top 10 is Adele’s mega-hit “Hello” with 2.57 billion views.
