Jennifer Aniston spoke about making her huge Instagram entrance during an appearance on Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Aniston got herself into the Guinness World Records after posting a selfie of her and her “Friends” co-stars — Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry — as her first snap on the social media site.
The star ended up nabbing one million followers faster than anyone, even beating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who previously held the record.
Admitting it was a whole new world to her and that she still doesn’t know why she joined in the first place, Aniston told Kimmel: “What you resist, persist, so what the hey. I’m just trying to ‘build content’, as they say.”
Aniston talked about her new series “The Morning Show”, revealing how she shadowed the “Good Morning America” team to research her role.
She shared, “It is a fascinating world. It’s like this engine that revs up from 5 to 7 and it’s just like something you’ve never seen.
“A lot of women were coming up and saying, ‘You’ve gotta tell ‘em this is what happens, and they don’t let us do this.’
“A lot of people were just like, ‘Please!’ It’s almost like they’re in cages going, ‘Get me out of here!’”
