Paul Dano is getting tricky in “The Batman”.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms Dano will portray The Riddler in Matt Reeves’ new movie. The “12 Years a Slave” and “Love & Mercy” actor is a strong choice with a SAG Award to his name, plus Emmys, Golden Globes and BAFTA nominations.
Dano’s version of The Riddler is named Edward Nashton – this is a departure from the Edward Nygma name used in comic books and other forms of media.
Entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider first broke the news on Twitter and it was later confirmed by THR.

“The Batman” premieres June 25, 2021. It stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and Jeffrey Wright. ET Canada has reached out to Dano’s rep for comment.
