Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend are going their separate ways.
In an emotional Instagram post, the “Mad Men” alum, 44, announced the news just days after their 10-year wedding anniversary, revealing the pair hope to “rediscover ourselves.”
“Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities,” Hendricks shared. “Today we take our next step together, but on separate paths. We will always be grateful for the love we’ve shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs.”
She continued, “We will be taking time to rediscover ourselves in this transition and we thank you for your patience and support in giving us the space to do so.”
Fans were quick to notice a missing wedding ring on Hendricks’ finger while she attended the 10th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The actress officially filed for divorce on Dec. 13, but in documents obtained by TMZ, Hendricks lists April 19, 2019 as the day the pair went their own ways.
Hendricks is not seeking spousal support and is hoping to restore her maiden name.
Hendricks and the “Madam Secretary” actor, 41, met in 2007 after being introduced by her “Mad Men” costar Vincent Kartheiser. They married two years later on Oct. 11, 2009.
