Alicia Keys spoke about her new autobiography More Myself, as well as delivered an incredible performance of “Show Me Love” on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Keys explained of her new release, “I’m calling it a journey. Because a memoir sounded like I was going to die tomorrow. It’s heavy, right.
“We’re all on a journey, so how do you find your way to your authentic self? It’s just a question we’re all trying to answer.”

The musician also spoke about the first time she heard one of her records on the radio, admitting it was “right at the beginning” when she was still “terrified” of hearing her own music out loud. The track was “Girlfriend”.
