British singer Charli XCX is ready to introduce viewers to Nasty Cherry.
The “Boom Clap” pop star is fronting Netflix’s “I’m With The Band”, a rock documentary series about putting together a “badass” all-girl rock band. Made up of musicians from London and Southern California — Chloe Chaidez, drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson, bassist Georgia Somary, and singer Gabbriette Bechtel — the group have also signed to Charli’s record label.
“I wish, when I was 14, there was a band like Nasty Cherry,” the singer says in the trailer. The band released their debut single “Win” back in March, with Charli introducing the band on Instagram.
The six-episode series follows the formation of the band, moving in together, recording their debut single and playing for a live audience as the band try to make it big.
