The reporter insisted he thinks people should now “give Harry and Meghan a little bit of space,” adding he hopes “everyone takes a deep breath and thinks hard about how the future might play out.”

He said of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, “Harry and Meghan have just decided to play things very differently.

“I knew that everything wasn’t entirely rosy behind the scenes.

“The reality I found was just a couple that seemed a bit bruised and vulnerable.”

Harry and Meghan made headlines after the doc aired in the U.K. Sunday when they spoke about constantly being the target of negative press attention.

Meghan also said it had been “challenging” dealing with such comments while pregnant with baby Archie, while Harry compared the attention to what his mother Princess Diana had to deal with.
