When he’s not cementing his status as a country music icon, Kenny Rogers loves buying, renovating, and selling houses. Some examples of his projects include a 27,000-square-foot home in Atlanta (purchased for $2.75 million in 2002 and sold for $8.5 million in 2006), and another Atlanta home (purchased for $2.8 million in 2009 and sold $3.725 million in 2011). This home is now for sale for $4.495 million.

The 7,000-square-foot home is located in Tuxedo Park, an upscale neighbourhood, and is listed at just over an acre. Rogers spent $3 million redesigning the home to accommodate his then-four-year-old twin sons (whom he had with his latest of five wives, Wanda Miller).

The listing reads: “Formal spaces are large and elaborate with rooms having 20-foot ceilings, gilded doorways, and mirrors. For less formal entertaining the movie-game room also has a large sit-down bar area.”

The site continues to describe the home: “With six ensuite bedrooms and two additional baths, plenty of room for Kenny’s large collection of music-business friends. The large master suite includes a romantic fireplace. Entertaining options extend to an expansive pool terrace with an enclosed play area to the side.”
