Martha Stewart is offering Felicity Huffman some fashion advice: how to rock a prison jumpsuit.
The former inmate sat down to talk with David Zaslav and moderator Brian Stetler during a Vanity Fair summit on Tuesday, where she commented on the first photos of the “Desperate Housewives” star in her prison gear.
“She should style her outfit a little bit more. She looked pretty schlumpy,” the 78-year-old TV personality said, according to her fashion sense. All jokes aside, Stewart noted, “She made a horrible mistake, and she’s experiencing what happens.”
Stewart served five months in prison back in 2004 after lying about securities violations during a federal investigation.
In May, Huffman pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to the master behind the college admissions scandal, Rick Singer. The 56-year-old star wanted to correct her daughter Sophia Grace’s SAT scores.
The Emmy Award-winning actress is serving her 14-day sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, Calif.
Huffman will be released on Sunday, Oct. 27.
